Punctuation
Today in Writing we had to make a DLO [Digital Learning Object] about punctuation. I worked together with Kate. I liked making the animals say things. It was hard because sometimes I would write things that Kate was going to write. I did the ones in a black speech bubble with the green writing. We did it on a Google drawing and I took a screenshot of it. Do you write with lots of punctuation? If you do what types of punctuation do you use?

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post
ReplyDeleteHi Lily rose it's Miller, I like this post and oli also worked on animal punctuation but it was minecraft. your WALT was pretty good but you actually have to write what the thing does and when you use it. It was good that you explained what a DLO is and that used punctuation yourself in remembering the capital letters. It's cool that you and kate could work together. It makes it go 2x faster or as you said it can be complicated when you both try to write the same thing. Now I can see who wrote what. Instead of taking a screenshot you could push the file then push publish to the web and make it the size you want. Then finally yes I do use punctuation in books and on my chromebook, but my keyboard has a button that doesn't actually work so my chromebook auto corrects it.
