Equity and Equality

 WALT: To learn what is fair and what is equity.

Today we had a scenario where everyone had a "injury".  Some were really bad ones and some were not bad at all.  I had a bruised bottom.  Some people had broken backs and some people had colds.  We all went to "Nurse" Nick.  (Mr Gray).  He prescribed us with solutions to our injury.  He gave all of us a band aid (plaster).  He was being fair and equal by giving us the same prescription but he wasn't being equity by giving us what we need.  So that was a great way to learn about equity and equality.  The difference is that equality is giving everyone the same thing or prescription regardless of whether they needed the specific thing or prescription.  But equity is giving someone a thing or prescription that they need even if it is different to other peoples thing or prescriptions.

The life of Jesus

 WALT: Understand the life story of Jesus.

Today for RE we had to watch a video about the life story of Jesus and make notes from it.  It was pretty easy to do because I already know a LOT about Jesus.  I made five bullet points about the video. It was fun and easy to do and I got it done quickly.  Here is the video that I watched.

How to find verses in the bible.

 WALT: To make a video about how to find verses in the bible.

Today in lockdown one of the things that I had to do was to make a video about how to find verses in the bible.  I made a screencastify about it and it was quite easy to do.  In the video I used a google jamboard.  It was really fun to do because I got to add my own sort of touch to it.  The video might not work so just giving you the heads up.  Please comment to this post.

'mazing Matthew

WALT: To watch and make notes on the video about Matthews gospel.

In RE we had to watch a video on Matthew and take notes on it.  

I really like the gospel of Matthew because he tells a lot of parables.  

23 prophecies are fulfilled in Matthews gospel! Prophecies that were made thousands of years before! 

It was fun and easy to do and I got it done quickly.  I chose Matthew because Jesus tells a lot of parables.

The coloured hats

 WALT: Understand the meaning of 'Forgiving'.

In RE we are learning about forgiving.  We had to watch a video, then do an activity using the black hat, the white hat, the yellow hat and the red hat.  It was pretty easy to do and I got it done pretty soon.  Here is the activity.

All about Easter Sunday

 WALT: Answer questions about Easter Sunday using the coloured hat's

Today in RE we had to pick an event that happened on Holy Week and answer questions about it using the coloured hats.  My friend Kate and I picked Easter Sunday.  We did it on a google drawing.  I liked making it because it was fun and easy to make.  My favourite part was writing the green hat because it is funny.  The hat's are blue, green,yellow, white, black and red.  Here is the google drawing.

Palm Sunday

 WALT: To make an animation about Palm Sunday.

For the last few days in RE we have been learning about Palm Sunday.  My friend Kate and I made the animation on Biteable.  It was really fun and easy to make.  The video includes a lot of information about Palm Sunday.  I love using Biteable because it is fun and easy to use.  Here is my video.  Sorry If the video does not work.

 WALT: Learn that failing is okay.

In RE today we had to create a poster that shows that when you fail and carry on, you get good at it.   I made a poster in google drawing.  It has someone holding a ruined soup and them someone with an amazing dish of food.  The images were labelled for reuse.  This was really fun to make, I enjoyed personalising it.

Jesse Tree

 WALT: To make a Jesse tree and make ornaments to go onto it.

I made a Jesse tree on a Google Jamboard.  I worked with my friends.  It was fun to do because I liked making the ornaments.   Here is the screenshot.

Advent Wreaths

 WALT : To make a Digital.Learning.Object about a advent wreath and answer the questions. 

In RE we had to make a DLO about an advent wreath and answer the questions about it that our teacher set.  I worked together with my friend on a Google Jamboard.  I took a screenshot of it. It was fun and easy to do.  Here is the screenshots.  What do you know about Advent?

RE Rubbish bins

 WALT: To take a photo of a rubbish bin and a recycling bin.

In RE we got to go around the school and take a photo of the contents in a rubbish bin and a recycling bin.   

I took a photo of the classroom rubbish bin and the school recycling bin.  Here it is.

The recycling bin is full of recyclable things , which is good.  The rubbish bin is full of rubbish.  At least the recycling bin hasn't got rubbish.  What does your recycling bin look like?

Sacraments of Initiation

 WALT: To make a DLO about the three sacraments of initiation.

In RE we had to make a DLO about the three sacraments of Initiation.  I did it on google drawings.  We had to explain what the three sacraments are.  The three sacraments are Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation.  Here is my google drawing.  Have you been baptised?

In RE we had to make a google drawing about sacred tapu.  We had to insert a photo of our self and put five ways  how to look after our self.  If was fun and easy to do.  Here is the google drawing!

In RE we had to track Paul's journey for his deliveries.  Each text box is the same colour as the line showing his journey.  It was soooo fun to track his journey's across his country.  I did it on google drawings

WAL: It's okay to make mistakes.

In RE we had to make  a poster that explains it's okay to make mistakes.  I made a poster with my friends.   We did it on paper and took a photo of it.

WAL: What life was like in early church.

On Tuesday Room 3 had a feast.  In the days of Aquila and Priscillla they had a feast.  they invited the poor and the rich.  Room three acted it out.  Mr Gray took a photo and I copied it so here is the photo.  [ I copied it with permission.]

What I am Thankful for

WALT: To write ten things that we are thankful for.

In RE we wrote what we are thankful for. It was fun and easy.

Kind Certificate.

WALT: to be Kind.

In RE we had to make a certificate that we would give to people when they were kind.

I worked together with my friends, Scarlett, Kate and Aimee.  It was fun to make it and the certificate is getting printed.  We made it on google drawings and I took a screen shot of it.

Today we had to make a google drawing about John 15:1.  I worked with my friend.  She did the farmer and I did the vines and the grapes.  It was easy to make because all I did was the vines and grapes.  I made it on  a google drawing and I took a screenshot of it.  Can you tell me some verses from the new testament?
