In RE we had to read some of the OLD TESTAMENT. In The OLD TESTAMENT it said that God was multiple things.

These are that things he was. What do you think God is?

Punctuation

WALT: To fix punctuation.

In Writing we had to  fix punctuation mistakes in a paragraph.   Mr Gray made mistakes on purpose so we could fix them.   It was really easy to do.   I made the corrections in red so you know what I did.   What do you know about punctuation?

It was a freezing cold day. It had been snowing all night in christchurch.Alfred and I went outside to play in the fresh snow. We hadn’t seen this much snow since we went skiing in queenstown last year! Uncle Joe was right when he said that we would wake up this morning and see white. Alfred and I decided to make a snowman in the garden. He started to roll a huge ball for the body, whilst I worked on the head. Then we ran inside and asked mum for a carrot for the nose. We then found pebbles for the eyes and mouth and  we called our snowman Nick. 

Being a friend

WALT: To explain how to be a good friend.

In Reading we had to make a DLO about being a good friend.  My DLO has animals saying things about being a good friend.    It was easy because I already knew what to write.  I made it on google drawings and I took a screenshot of it.  What do you think makes a good friend?

Marvellous Maths

WALT: We are learning that problems like 34 + ? = 51 and 51 - 34 = ? have the same answer.

Today I had to work out these questions using the strategy.

Samoan Tapa

WALT: To look at some Samoan Tapa, choose our favourite and post it to our blog.
Today we had to look at some Samoan Tapa and choose our favourite.

Maths

WALT: To work out a question using a different strategy.  [Other than using number lines]
Today in maths we had to work out a question without using a number line.  Instead we used a different strategy.  It was hard because I was actually was doing a different strategy for the first three questions.   I did another question in the right strategy and I took a photo of it.  I inserted the photo in here.   Do you have a strategy you like using to help you?  If you do what is it?

WALT: To make a DLO [Digital Learning Object]  about punctuation.
Today in Writing we had to make a DLO [Digital Learning Object] about punctuation.  I worked together with Kate.   I liked making the animals say things.  It was hard because sometimes I would write things that Kate was going to write.  I did the ones in a black speech bubble with the green writing.  We did it on a Google drawing and I took a screenshot of it.  Do you write with lots of punctuation?  If you do what types of punctuation do you use?
